Facilities
The Illuminated Image design department is aided by a cutting-edge CAD system. The system gives us the flexibility needed for custom design projects, to quickly modify designs, and to create precise shop and installation drawings for each project. Production is aided by computerized plotting and cutting equipment, yielding the precision tolerances needed to meet our exacting standards.
Production capacity
Our Midwest facilities comprise nearly 50,000 square feet of active space. We take pride in having a highly motivated, highly productive, educated staff that view their positions as a career, not just a job. Employee turnover is virtually non-existent. Featured are the latest technologies for heat transfer, heat seaming, computerized plotting and large format digital printing. Upgrading production capabilities is an on-going program at Illuminated Image with our continued investment in tools, technology and facility expansions. Recent production capability enhancements include the conversion of our production line from a three-welder line to a six-welder line. Job flow has been enhanced and quality control improved. The upgrade has assured a faster turnaround time for customers and superior overall quality of the welded products.
